What should I expect when I come to Redefined Church?

If you’re checking out RC for the first time, you can expect a warm friendly place open to people from all different stages of life and from various nations around the world. Whatever your background, history, or current situation, there are inevitably those gathered that share similar experiences, and have found strength and hope in trusting Jesus and walking this journey with other people. 

When you enter the building, you’ll find greeters available to help you find your way. If you have children, our greeters will direct you to our RC Kids area, where our volunteers will help you find the appropriate place for them.

Upon entering the main gathering space, you should feel free to “make yourself at home” and if you need help finding a seat, there will be those who can help you find a spot. 

What should I wear?

We don’t have a dress code, so you should come however you feel comfortable. You will see a wide range of styles from casual to business casual.  We know that often the work week requires certain attire, so church should be a safe place to just be YOU! 

What is available for my child/children? 

Redefined Church cares about your family. We have an amazing team of children’s workers ready to connect with your kids from birth to age 12.  Our children’s areas are designed considering both your child’s security and your peace of mind. Your children will be cared for and taught by a team of loving, trained volunteers in a safe environment. What is the gathering like?

We often start with a countdown that leads right into music. While you will find many singing along, you can participate at what ever level you feel comfortable.  We often transition to a time of prayer and reflection.  We believe God hears and answers prayer.  You will find that some quietly reflect while others might pray using their voices—again, this might be new to you, and you should feel free to observe or engage as you prefer. 

We don’t believe church should be boring, so laughter is common and our speaking team works to make the messages engaging, practical, and thought-provoking. 

We hope that you immediately sense that you have found a place to belong; in time, you’ll stretch your faith to believe, and ultimately, you become a passionate follower of Jesus!  Give it some time—give yourself some grace—and you will look back and see how God was at work every step of the way!
